Remarkably so,
it’s an idea that only a handful of the millions of small
business owners in this country are even familiar with,
let alone understand. Yet, it’s an idea so powerful and
so practical that once you do understand it you will wonder
why you have been working so hard all these years. We call
it the Turn Key Revolution. It has worked in every kind
of business imaginable - in retail, wholesale, manufacturing,
professional and service businesses; Pet shops, Job shops,
Medical Clinics and Dental Laboratories etc.
|
The point is,
that whether you’re high tech or low tech, or no tech
or slow tech, the idea behind the Turn Key Revolution
not only can work in your business; it has already been
put to work in thousands of businesses exactly like yours.
In other words it can most definitely be put to work for
you. However, for you to fully appreciate the Turn Key
Revolution and what it can do for you, you need to fully
understand what it can mean to you.
You need to
put behind you, all the ideas that you’ve grown to accept
about your business. What’s possible and what’s not possible,
what will work and what won’t. You need to look at yourself
and your business in a totally new way. You need to consider
the possibility that your business isn’t what you think
it is and that your problems aren’t caused by what you
think they are. You need to accept the possibility that
your belief about your business is what is standing in
your way; of getting every thing you want from your business,
and that by simply changing your belief about what a business
is and how one works; your entire experience of your business
will change.

It’s about a totally
new point of view. The fact of the matter is that
most businesses in this country don’t work, that’s not to
say that the people who own them don’t work. They
do, in fact most of them work harder than they should for
what they are getting in return. The problem is, they
are doing the wrong work and the result: the businesses
usually end in chaos, unmanageable, unpredictable and mostly
unrewarding. If you don’t believe me just look at
the numbers.
Businesses start
and fail in Australia at an increasingly alarming rate.
Every year, more than fifty thousand people start a business
of some sort. But by the end of the first year at
least 40% of them will be out of business. Within
five years, more than 80% of them. Forty thousand out of
the original fifty thousand will have already failed.
Now if you own
a business which has managed to survive for five years or
more, please don’t breath a sigh of relief because the rest
of the good news is, of the 20% remaining in business at
the end of five years, 90% of those fail in the second five
years. The message is predictably clear. If the first
five years don’t kill you, then the 2nd five will.
